Nie samymi wystawami się żyje 😉 W hodowli ważniejsze od „blasku złota” jest zdrowie psiaków, dlatego wrzesień upłynął także na wizytach u różnych specjalistów. Na początku miesiąca odwiedziliśmy naszego ulubionego doktora okulistę i wykonaliśmy pierwsze badania wzroku naszej młodzieży. Zbadaliśmy psy, które w następnym sezonie planujemy włączyć do naszego planu hodowlanego – Aurorę, Sagę i Bunnego. Wszystkie psy przeszły testy bez najmniejszych zastrzeżeń i mają zdrowe oczy. Następnie zbadaliśmy także ich rzepki i tu także nie było zaskoczenia – u wszystkich młodzików stawy pracują bez zarzutu.
Wczoraj odwiedziliśmy też kardiologa – badania przeszła Aurora i Olaf, który miał już wstępnie badane serduszko, ale teraz potwierdzaliśmy je dodatkowo certyfikatem. Oboje mają zdrowe serca, bez żadnych wad wrodzonych i innych anomalii. Cieszymy się, że nowe pokolenia nie zawodzą nas pod względem swojego zdrowia i ekscytujemy nadchodzącymi planami na ich przyszłość. Przy okazji badań charciej młodzieży zbadaliśmy też kilku seniorów, ale o tym w kolejnym wpisie. Czas zimowy upłynie nam na odpoczynku od wystaw i z pewnością poświęcimy się wtedy wizytom u specjalistów z kolejnymi charcikami.
ENG | Shows are not the most important 😉 In breeding, health of dogs is obviously more important than the „shine of gold”, which is why September was also month of visits to specialists. At the beginning of the month, we visited our favorite ophthalmologist and went through first eye examinations of our youngsters. We examined the dogs that we plan to include in our breeding plan next season – Aurora, Saga and Bunny. All dogs passed the tests without any doubts and their eyes are perfectly healthy. Then we also examined their patellas and there was no surprise here as well – the joints of all youngsters work flawlessly.
Yesterday we also visited a cardiologist – Aurora and Olaf underwent the tests, he already had his heart pre-examined, but now we have additionally confirmed it with a certificate. They both have healthy hearts with no birth defects or other abnormalities. We are glad that new generations are not failing us in terms of their health and we are excited about the upcoming plans for their future. We also examined a few seniors, but more about that in the next post. We will spend the winter time resting from the shows and we will certainly devote ourselves to visiting specialists with more dogs.
